The University High
School Distinguished Alumni Awards are bestowed on outstanding graduates by
the University Laboratory School Foundation. These awards have been
established to recognize and honor alumni who have distinguished themselves
and their alma mater. An anonymous committee, made up of alumni, reviews and selects the award recipients. The Distinguished Alumni Awards celebrate the areas of Alumni Hall of Distinction and the Athletic Hall of Fame. The Class of 1965 now has three previous honorees - Sharon W. Mathews - 2003 Hall of Distinction, Bill Mathews - 2005 Athletic Hall of Fame, and Kathryn Grigsby - 2008 Hall of Distinction. Congratulations! We need to support our outstanding classmates! Nominations for the 2009 Distinguished Alumni must be submitted by April 3, 2009. Let's support our outstanding classmates. Alumni recognition ceremony is scheduled for Sat., August 29, 2009.
